Flashback

While watching Criminal Minds last night, I had a flashback to my junior year of high school. On the show, the BAU team had pulled a suspected murderer over and ordered him to roll down his window and put his hands out in the air. I had to laugh because I instantly remembered driving around with my boyfriend C and we were pulled over in his car. I was worried and he said "Oh don't worry. You just turn off the car, roll down the windows, put your keys on the hood and keep your hands in the air." I was even more worried upon hearing this because it because apparent this wasn't the first time he had been pulled over for something.

Luckily it was just for speeding, and you think I would have listened to my gut when it said "Dump this ass." The officer immediately suspected something worse because of the whole routine C did. I was nervous as hell because I wasn't supposed to be dating anyone and god forbid he get arrested and the word got around. It all ended with a speeding ticket and a warning to stay out of trouble. Sadly, trouble was all C ever was for me.

Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner

I was sad to read last night that Patrick Swayze passed away after a 20 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Just a few weeks ago I was watching Dirty Dancing on TV and wished that he would be able to hold on and pull through. It's so sad even if I didn't know him personally. But in his remembrance, i thought I would post some of my favorite clips of him.

Flashback

I'm sitting in AP English my senior year of high-school and the popular girl happens to mention her birthday is coming up. My good friend also announces her birthday is the same week so I decide I will bake cupcakes and bring them in so we can celebrate the birthdays.

At home, while baking my goodies, I decide to lick the popular girls cupcake top. I grin and smile to myself all while lovingly frosting the top of the newly licked cupcake. I pipe a giant "L" onto the top so she knows I made that cupcake just for her. To keep up appearances, I also pipe a "T" onto my friends cupcake.

The next day I arrive to English carrying my bountiful goods and present them to the class with a flourish. Ooh's and Aah's ensue as everyone grabs a cupcake. I can't help but smile politely when the popular girl tells me the cupcake was Delicious. Of course it was sweety, I licked it! Enjoy biatch!
